Not surprisingly, I read a lot of romance novels. Today I want to recommend one that may have skipped by you. It's not filed with the romance novels, but it's one of the best love stories I've read this year: The Wedding Officer, by Anthony Capella.

It was fantastic. You'll laugh, you may cry, and you'll remember the characters and their story. A wonderful tale of wartime love in 1944 Naples, Italy.

Go read it. You'll thank me later. But don't read it while you're hungry! The food descriptions are practically pornographic!

Have you heard of Tim Dorsey? I was talking to a co-worker yesterday who has read his books and said they are full of Florida info. And hysterically funny.

I'll have to look them up this weekend.

Take care!
I heard Tim Dorsey speak at a library function a few years back. Most of the attendees were long past retirement age, and I was afraid some of them would have heart attacks, they were laughing so hard.

He's very entertaining. If you like Carl Hiaasen, you'll like Tim Dorsey.

I'm reading SKIN TIGHT by Hiaasen now. It's pretty entertaining. I should be getting Dorsey's books next week from my co-worker. STILL haven't bought yours yet, which irritates me.

I happen to be married to the Grinch who is morally against me using our credit cards. (g)
